Description of preliminary data for ESQUIF99.

General:    The data is not yet filtered.
            Some parameters are not or not definitely calibrated.
            Different time resolutions (e.g. 1 Hz and/or different parameters) are available
            upon request.

"time"      seconds of the day (UTC, measured by GPS, interval centered). 
            Specify, if you need CET or CEST instead
"clock"	    same as "time", but, as hours:minutes:seconds
"East"	    UTM km in zone 31 (specify, if you prefer another coordinate system)+
"North"     do.
"alt"       integrated pressure altitude, using "press", and "dens", including "mix"
"zGND"      height above ground from radar altimeter 
            (nearest distance to terrain, not necessarily vertical)
"TAS"       True Air Speed as calculated from 5-hole-pressures and density
"vx"        wind vector component towards the east as calculated from diverse parameters (*)
"vy"        do. towards north
"vz"        do. upwards
"DDD"       horizontal wind direction (where the wind was blowing from)
"FFF"       horizontal wind speed
"press"     static pressure as calculated from 5-hole-pressures
"temp"      air temperature (kinetic heating is corrected)
"dewp"      dewpoint (directly measured, no relevant kinetic correction necessary)
"pot"       potential temperature (calculated from above parameters)
"virt"      virtual temperature (calculated from above parameters)
"dens"      density (calculated from above parameters)
"mix"       water vapour mixing ratio (calculated from above parameters)
"aer05"     number of particles per ccm with diameter >0.5 micrometer
"aer03"     do >0.3 micrometer
"UVO"       O3-concentration measured by UV-absorption 
            (calibration is definitive, but, needs some filtering)
"NO2"       raw signal of NO2-measurement (not yet calibrated, no O3-interference subtr.)
"NOx"       do. NOx (=NO2+NO)
"Ox"        do. Ox  (=O3+NO2)
"NOy"       do. NOy (incl. HNO3) - data quality not yet investigated
"HNO3"      do. NOy-HNO3

"sole"      voltage from a horizontally mounted photovoltaic cell with a load

Housekeeping parameters (not of interest for data users)
"TVais"     temperature inside the left instrument pod (Vaisala element)
"TUVO"      temperature inside the O3-Photometer (already used to correct UVO)
"NOyT"      temperature of intake of NOy-converter (should stay >10C to avoid deposition of HNO3)
"Tref"      internal reference temperature in the Meteolabor instrument for "temp" and "dewp",
            which are measured differentially by thermocouples.
"Odp"       differential pressure in UVO cell (already used to correct UVO)
"FVais"     relative humidity inside the left instrument pod (Vaisala element, not calibrated)
"UUVO"      brightness of UV-lamp in O3-photometer (already used to correct UVO)
"power"     voltage of primary power on board
